Nestling at the foot of a steep rock and beautifully surrounded by the sea lies the traditional town of Lindos; on the top of the same rock stands a centuries-old acropolis, proudly overlooking the bay. The white washed houses reflect in the sun and can be seen from far away. This is a great place for exploring, so wander down the winding streets, visiting unique gifts shops where you’ll find authentic souvenirs like beautiful embroidered linen and leather, as well as handmade silver jewellery. Discover the ancient architecture and beautiful churches as you go, mixed amongst the cosy restaurants and cafés. Find your way through the maze of cobbled streets to discover the famous Acropolis. Lindos has three beaches, one of them being the famous Saint Paul bay. There are plenty of restaurants, cafes and bars to choose from but summer sees this place extremely crowded so arrive either very early or late in the afternoon.
