Kremasti Information
Kremasti lies on the west coast. It is a busy village with rooms, apartments and a few package-tour hotels. It features a wide pebbly beach with the usual sun-loungers, parasols and waters-sport facilities. The seabed here is steep making the beach rather unsuitable for children. Given its proximity to the “Diagoras” International Airport of Rhodes, Kremasti can be very noisy, especially in the summer. The tree-lined village square is dominated by a large church and lined with shops. The village is famous for its “Panigiri” or Festival of the Virgin Mary, on August 15. There is a huge street market, fiesta and funfair.
